22 –– Past continuous tense

Hello दोस्तो greatspokenenglish में आपका स्वागत है। आज हम past continuous tense के बारे में जानेंगे। तो चलिए शुरू करते है

Past continious tense
पहचान - जिस  हिंदी  वाक्य  की  क्रिया  के  अंत  में   रहा   था   /   रही   थी   /   रहे   थे   इत्यादि  रहे  ,   उस  क्रिया का  अनुवाद   Past  Continuous  Tense  में   होगा .

Rull - ऐसे वाक्यो में H.V के लिए was / were का उपयोग होगा। और v4 मतलब ( v+ing ) का प्रयोग होगा।
I   /   He   /   She   /   It   /   Ram  के  साथ   Was  तथा  अन्य  के  साथ   Were  का प्रयोग  किया  जाता  हैं .

Simple sentence
( S + was  /  were + V4 +  o )
1.  मैं  जा  रहा  था ।
I  was  going.
2.  वह  मेरी  मदद  कर  रहा  था।
He  was  helping  me.
3.  तुम  मुझे  गाली  दे  रहे  थे ।
You  were  abusing  me.
4.  राम  सेब  खा  रहा  था ।
Ram  was  eating  apple.
5.  छात्र  जवाब  दे  रहे  थे।
The  students  were answering.
6.  मैं  दूध  पी  रहा  था ।
I  was  drinking  milk.
7.  हमलोग  देश  की  सेवा  कर  रहे  थे ।
We  were  serving  the  country.
8.  मेरी  माँ  मुझे  प्यार  कर  रही  थी।
My  mother  was  loving  me.

Negative  Sentences
( S +  was  /  were  +  not  +  V4  + o )
1.  मैं  नहीं  जा  रहा  था ।
I  was  not  going.
2.  वह  मेरी  मदद  नहीं  कर  रहा  था ।
He  was  not  helping  me.
3.  तुम  मुझे  गाली  नहीं  दे  रहे  थे ।
You  were  not  abusing  me.
4.  राम  सेब  नहीं  खा  रहा  था ।
Ram  was  not  eating  apple.
5.  छात्र  जवाब  नहीं  दे  रहे  थे ।
The  students  were  not answering.
6.  मैं  दूध  नहीं  पी  रहा  था ।
I  was  not  drinking  milk.
7.  हमलोग  देश  की  सेवा  नहीं  कर रहे  थे ।
We  were  not  serving  the  country.
8.  मेरी  माँ  मुझे  प्यार  नहीं  कर  रही  थी ।
My  mother  was  not  loving me.

Interogative  Sentences
( Was  /  Were  +  S +  not  +  v4 + o )
1.  क्या  मैं  जा  रहा  था  ? Was  I  going  ?
2.  क्या  वह  मेरी  मदद  कर  रहा  था  ? Was  he  helping  me  ?
3.  क्या  तुम  मुझे  गाली  दे  रहे  थे  ? Were  you  abusing  me  ?
4.  क्या  राम  सेब  खा  रहा  था  ? Was  Ram  eating  apple  ?

Interrogative & negative sentence
( Was / were + s + not + v4 + o )
1.  क्या  छात्र  जवाब  नहीं  दे  रहे  थे  ? Were  the  stundents  not  answering  ?
2.  क्या  मैं  दूध  नहीं  पी  रहा  था  ? Was  I  not  drinking  milk  ?
3.  क्या  हमलोग  देश  की  सेवा  नहीं  कर  रहे  थे ?
Were  we  not  serving  the  country  ?
4.  क्या  मेरी  माँ  मुझे  प्यार  नहीं  कर  रही  थी  ?
