9–– Use of was , were

Hello दोस्तो Greatspokenenglish में आपका स्वागत हैं । आज हम was , were का प्रयोग सिंखेंगे तो चलिए शुरू करते हैं।

Was - था , थी ( singular )
Were - थे , थीं ( plural )

      जब किसी वाक्य में noun या adjective होने पर उसके अंत  में (था, थी , थे , थीं) रहे , तो वाक्य के कर्ता  के अनुसार (Was  / Were) का  प्रयोग होता है। जैसे -

I - was

HE - was
SHE - was
NAME - was
SINGULAR - was
WE - were
YOU - were
THEY - were
PLURAL - were

       अब हम इनका उपयोग sentence में करेंगे।

राम बुद्धिमान था। - ram was wise.
मैं पागल था। - i was mad.
वेलोग नेक थे। - they were gentle.
हमलोग तैयार थे। - we were ready.
लड़के लंबे थे। - the boys were tall.
वह अमीर थी। - she was rich.

लड़किया बीमार थीं। - the girls were ill.
     
        अब हम Was , were का उपयोग एक - एक करके सभी sentence में use करके बनाएंगे जो मैन पिछले पोस्ट में type of sentence के बारे में बताया था।

Simple
वह मूर्ख था। - he was idiot.
हम ईमानदार थे। - we were honest.

Negative
वह मूर्ख नहीं था। - he was not idiot.
हम ईमानदार नहीं थे। - we were not idiot.

Interrogative
क्या वह मूर्ख था ? - was he idiot ?
क्या हम ईमानदार थे ? - were we honest ?

Interrogative & negative
क्या वह मूर्ख नहीं था ? - was he not idiot ?
क्या हम ईमानदार नहीं थे ? - were we not honest ?

Question
वह मूर्ख कब था ? - when was he idiot ?
हम ईमानदार कब थे ? - when were we honest ?

Question & negative
वह मूर्ख कब नहीं था ? - when was he not idiot ?
हम ईमानदार कब नहीं थे ? - when were we not honest ?
